Black Pope was born in 2009 in Trieste, Italy, as a joke to allow Nevio (vocals and guitar) to make fun of music through songs full of references to pop culture and classic genres such as rock and metal.

After some lineup changes they released 1 LP, 2 EPs and played about 50 concerts across Europe. They decided to split up in 2016.

Now, after 9 years, they want to give the farewell show that fans deserve. Mizio, a historic member of the band, is recruited again on guitar, while Save (Big Black Whale) and Zano (Sneaky Toy) join on bass and drums respectively.
