Acid Row is a Czech band active since around 2012, known for its explosive blend of stoner rock and punk, spiced with elements of doom, psychedelia, and ’90s grunge. Originally formed in Plzeň and relocated to Prague in 2019, the band has built a reputation for its ferocious live energy and an affinity for a darker, “devilish” aesthetic. Currently, the band performs as a trio consisting of Alex Fonar (vocals, bass), Dominik Klesa (guitar), and Radek

Bacík (drums).

The band first gained wider recognition with their debut album Spikes (2018), followed by the successful LP Afterglow (2022), which also charted internationally in the Doom Charts. Their third studio album, Poisoned Mind (2024), confirmed their quality by winning the Anděl Award in the Rock category. Acid Row actively tours across Central Europe and has performed alongside major genre acts such as Clutch, Bongzilla, Red Fang, and Stoned Jesus. In 2026, they released their fourth full-length album Magic, which balances on the edge of stoner, doom, sludge, and noise rock.
